FOOTBALL BC MEMBERSHIP FEE REFUND POLICY

This policy applies **only to Football BC membership fees** and does not apply to club registration fees or any other fees collected by individual clubs.Football BC membership fees may be refunded in full or in part, depending on the circumstances outlined below.

 

Scenario One – Player Unable to Be Placed on a Team
A player has registered with a club but has not participated in any practices, and the club is ultimately unable to place the player on a team.

 

Refund: A full refund of all Football BC membership fees, including insurance and processing fees

 

Scenario Two – Player Withdraws for Safety or Suitability Reasons
A player has registered with a club and attended at least one practice but has not participated in a game. The club and/or parent or guardian determines that it would not be safe or appropriate for the player to continue participating.

 

Refund: A refund of Football BC membership fees, less the $10 insurance fee and any applicable processing fees.

 

Scenario Three – Player Has Participated in a Game
A player has registered with a club and participated in at least one game.

 

Refund: No refund of Football BC membership fees will be provided.

 

Important Notes

- This policy applies exclusively to Football BC membership fees.

- Individual clubs are responsible for establishing and administering their own refund policies for club registration fees.

- Refund eligibility is determined by the player's participation status and the circumstances of their withdrawal.

- All refund requests must be submitted through the player's registered club.
